Yes, we do offer same-day service with our basic response services. If you’ve got a problem with your heating, hot water or appliance we can get that sorted for you – fast!

Yes, you are able to choose a specific time or day for any work you wish to have carried out.
At Local Gas London you can book 3 different time slot a day. Options for morning, afternoon and evening time slots. However, if there is a specific time you would like to request, our friendly and professional customer service team can arrange a suitable appointment in advance you, this request needs to fill up when you place your booking online.
At Local Gas London, all our gas engineers hold Gas Safety Certification, which you find out more about by typing in their number on the Gas Safe Register database.
They also carry photographs of their Gas Safety Certification which can be shown to customers.
Our heating engineer also hold a G3 qualification, also known as the Hot Water Systems and Safety certificate. This is a certification based on the UK’s Building Regulations Approved Document G.

Yes, you will need to be present at your property when your installation, service or repair has been arranged in order for our engineers to carry out the work.
The most common boiler repairs we’re asked to fix include:
- Failed components such as pumps, fans, PCBs and sensors
- Leaks
- There is hot water but no heating
- Insufficient boiler pressure
- Frozen condensate pipe
- The boiler is not responding to the thermostat
- There is no heat or hot water
- Low water pressure
- The boiler keeps shutting down or switching off temporarily
- Unusual boiler noises
- The pilot light has gone out
- Airlocks that block the hot water in your boiler from circulating

Repairs, servicing and emergency plumbing, heating and gas services are charged based on Local Gas London price list.
Local Gas London is approved by many of the leading boiler manufacturers including, Vaillant, Worcester, Ideal, Baxi, Potterton, Alpha, Glow Worm, and more.
All our services are backed by our 12-month standard labour warranty. If parts are required to be fitted, they are covered by a minimum 12 months parts and labour warranty too.
However, most of our boiler and cylinder products are solely backed with a 5-14 year manufacturer’s warranty and exclude labour. Some of our manufacturers offer extended warranties on certain stock items.

Guarantees provided by Local Gas London shall be for labour and parts fitted in, in respect of faulty workmanship from 12 months of the date of completion. This is based on jobs that have been booked and exclude warranty on labour.
The guarantee covers:
- Any labour supplied is covered by a 12-month warranty.
- Any parts and labour that have been delivered, are covered by our 12 monthly parts and labour warranty.
- Any parts, equipment or components supplied by the company will be covered by their respective manufacturer’s warranty. Local Gas London offer a minimum of 12 months on parts supplied
- If parts fail after the 12-month warranty and the manufacturer warranty is longer. The additional warranty on the parts is covered by the manufacturer and additional labour rates will apply if our employees visit your property.
- Any work that is directly undertaken by Local Gas London employees.
- If recommendations have been provided and not accepted, the warranty is void.
Yes, we provide PDF electronic invoices and certificates that we can send to your e-mail address.
We can provide paper, hard copy invoices and certificates via postal service. Fee £10.
Our engineers will be required to ordered special parts to carry out repairs. In this case, we require a 100% deposit of parts to be paid on before we order any parts.
The repair labour remaining balance being payable on the completion of the work via a debit/credit card transaction or instantaneous bank transfer.
Public liability insurance helps cover compensation in the event of damage or an injury that happens to an employee.
At Local Gas London, we hold an employee’s public liability insurance that is up to the value of £5,000,000.
Our services can vary in length of time and sometimes take longer than a day to complete.
The most common service that requires additional time is the full boiler installation service. This sometimes includes power flushing existing radiators which can take more than one day to complete, depending on whether there are many radiators, and if the pipework system proves to be stubborn and hard to get rid of debris/scale.
Yes, non-standard repairs and installations can be completed on the same day, as we understand that these essential services are necessary for households and businesses.
Local Gas London is not obliged to provide or issue any guarantees unless full payment has been paid and received.
The warranty does not cover:
- Materials supplied by the customer or other third-party companies. Local Gas London will not accept liability for any damage or faults as a result.
- Any repairs and installations carried out for waste and drainage systems.
- Work carried out by the instruction of the customer which goes against Local Gas London’s advice.
- Damage or defect arising from work that is not fully guaranteed or where work has not been carried out.
- Any further work that needs to be carried out if the customer has been told verbally or in writing by the company.
- Liability for any hazardous circumstances as a result of the Gas Safe regulations, or gas warning notices issued.
- Any plumbing systems damaged or tampered with by a third party.

Booking Cancellation
If you change your mind, you can cancel your booking any time (for free or with cancellation fee)
“Required Notice” In respect of services you must give us at least 24 hours’ notice.
FREE Cancellation
You cancel your booking in respect of services, you give us at least 24 hours’ notice (“Required Notice”)
Cancellation Fee £100
You cancel your booking in NO respect of services, you do not give us at least 24 hours’ notice (“Required Notice”), cancellation on site.
Refund Fee
All refund charges 10% refund fee. The fee covers the bank charge and our cost to proceed the refund.
Refund Customer sees the refund as a credit approximately 5-15 business days later, depending upon the bank. Please contact us if you don’t see the refund after 15 days.
All our work is guaranteed.
However, if the fault is not because of our workmanship or component failure covered as per our standard Terms & Conditions, there will be additional charges as per our standard rate card.
In the unlikely event that you have found a faulty part after your installation, repair or service you can contact our customer service team who can arrange for a technician to repair your installation.
We charge the repair, diagnostic, fault finding fee in advance before our engineer start the work.
If our engineer confirms that the fault was due to our mistake, we will refund the repair, diagnostic, fault finding fee to the customer and repair it for free.
